The premiere screening of the Beach of Dreams Film.
Beach of Dreams was an epic 500 mile journey to discover the hidden gems of the East Coast of England, inviting collaboration from communities, environmental scientists and artists along the way in Suffolk, Essex, Southend and Thurrock. Guided by strong environmental themes and the challenges of our current time, they considered the question “How can we creatively reimagine our future?”
We invite you to the screening of the Beach of Dreams 30 min documentary to learn about the project and its impact on those who took part.
Creative Lives is partnering with Kinetika to scale up this model across the UK and Ireland in 2024. Following the film, Kinetika’s Artistic Director Ali Pretty will outline the vision and host a conversation around how to make it happen.
This will be the first step and we hope to build a wide network of interested artists and organisations that will come together to work on this.
The event will take place on Thursday 20 January 2022, from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. Guests are welcome to join us online (via Zoom) or in person, in the Monet Room, National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London WC2N 5DN.
You choose how you attend when you book, but please note that all guests will receive online registration information, in case circumstances change.
If you have any questions, please contact info@creative-lives.org.
